The town is famous for Goddess Vindhyavasini, which is situated on the banks of river Ganga and is visited by many pilgrims every year. Weather in Vindhyachal is like other cities in the state, it has a subtropical climate with the summers being quite hot and winters being very cold and the most ideal time to visit. Monsoons are the second best season to visit as there is not much rain and the climate remains cool throughout. The best time to visit Vindhaychal is during the months of October to March when the climate is cold and perfect for sightseeing. Due to Vindhyachal having a subtropical climate, the summers in this town are quite hot and very humid. The summer season stretches from the month of April all the way to June and temperatures during this season range from 40°C in the daytime to 30°C in the night, making it a little cooler than the day. Afternoons are the hottest time of the day during the summers and going out then must be avoided as you may get a heat stroke. The month of May is the hottest and it is not recommended to go on a trip in this season due to the brutal climate. If you absolutely have to go, make sure you wear light clothes and carry water at all times to beat the heat.
Monsoon (July-October)

Monsoons calm the heat down in Vindhyachal and the sub tropical climate makes monsoons wet and humid. The town sees a decent amount of rainfall with temperatures ranging from 30°C in the daytime to 24°C in the night, making the climate very cool. During the months of monsoon from July all the way to October, the average of 340 mm of rainfall is recorded every year. If you don’t mind a bit of rains while you are sightseeing, then this is the second best season to visit Vindhaychal. Due to the rains, the surroundings become very colourful and you can enjoy the lush green landscape in the Vindhya ranges.

The winter season in Vindhaychal starts in the last week of October and continues all the way to March. This is the best time to visit this part of Uttar Pradesh and sees a lot of tourists coming in during this time of the year. Temperatures during this time range from 20°C in the day to 12°C in the night, making the town absolutely chilly and so apt for tourism. Some winters get even colder and temperatures drop down to an average low of 8°C-10°C. At this time, you can witness breathtaking views of the Vindhya ranges and can enjoy the beautiful cold weather the place has to offer.
