Weather in Barsana is subtropical like the other cities in the state with summers being absolutely hot and stuffy, making it not a very good time to visit. The scorching heat of the sun starts to show itself in the month of April and stretches all the way until June. Temperatures during this time range from 41°C in the daytime to 30°C in the night; as you can tell from the temperatures, it is quite hot and there is a good level of humidity as well. The days are extremely hot and nights are just a little cooler than the days, with warm winds blowing. This is not the recommended time to come as the sun is scorching and some summers the temperatures rises even more making it very stuffy.

Monsoons in Barsana are a blessing and give some respite to the region and its people. Temperatures during monsoon in Barsana range from 35°C in the daytime to 24°C in the night, making it way cooler than the summers. The rain is moderate over there and is accompanied by cool winds, especially at night; also there are chances of thunderstorm as well. This is a good time to come due to the pleasant weather, but the rain can be mucky and not suitable for many. The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated during the monsoon months and several thousands of people visit the place.

Winters are the best time to visit Barsana as it is absolutely cool and pleasant. Temperatures during this time range from 23°C in the daytime to 10°C-12°C in the night; the tempretatures drastically drop during this season and make it extremely cold, especially for someone who is not used to this kind of weather. Therefore, you must make sure that you are bundled up and carrying warm clothes at all times. Some winters are brutal and temperatures drop down even further making it quite chilly. Although it is so cold, this is the best season to explore the city without getting tired and sweaty.
