The closest airport to Noida is the Indira Gandhi International Airport located in Delhi and is distanced at 33.7 km from the center of the city. This is the fastest way to reach Noida and the most convenient way as well. The IGI airport is one of the most popular airports in India and sees thousands of people everyday commuting to different places. Since this is an international airport, flights ply from different cities abroad to Noida and it also connects flights from different cities within India. Major carriers like Indigo, Spice Jet and Air India serve the region of Noida and have frequent flights to this airport. Once you reach the airport, you can use public transportation to get to your hotel in Noida.

Noida is pretty well connected by road to other cities in the state as well as neighbouring states. If you are thinking of driving, you can use the various well maintained highways and expressways within the state to reach Noida. If you don’t want to drive, you can always take state run busses to the city at a minimal cost. You can also take a private bus from neighbouring states and reach Noida overnight. If you’re traveling by road, the best way is to reach Delhi and then take a bus run by Delhi Road Transport Corporation to reach Noida. These busses are very frequent and offer a comfortable ride, hence taking the bus is one of the most economical ways to travel.

Noida does not have a railway station of its own and the nearest railhead is in Delhi by the name of Old Delhi Railway Station. This railhead is located at a distance of 25.5 km from the center of Noida city. Travelling by rail is time consuming as it may take up a few days depending on where you are travelling from, but at the same time, if you are going with family and friends it can prove to be a fun ride. Not only that but also it is an economical way to travel. Since this station is one of the major ones in Delhi, there are frequent trains coming in from different parts of the country. Once you reach the railway station, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach your destination in Noida, which should take about 50 minutes.

Getting around in Noida is fairly easy due to the several modes of transportation that are available in the city. You can travel by the Delhi Metro blue line that has several stops within Noida city and one can travel easily. Also, the city has ample number of busses and rickshaws that ply from one place to another; this is an economical way to travel and reliable as well. But if you are looking for something a little more comfortable, taking a taxi is a good option. It is a little more expensive than the other modes but if you are travelling with older people, this is the best option.
