The Surajpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the most popular destinations located close to Noida. The Surajpur wetland is an excellent example of biodiversity set on the banks of River Yamuna. The ground of these banks is suitable for breeding of several bird species such as Spot-billed Duck, Lesser whistling Duck and many more. There are a wide variety of flora and fauna in these wetlands and the sanctuary serves as a place for animal and plant lovers to come enjoy the day and observe nature. There are about 186 species of different birds hailing from 44 different families; most of them are resident native birds while the others are winter migrants.
