Dharmanagar is a Municipal Council and town located in the North Tripura district in the north-eastern state of Tripura. The city is known for its natural beauty, historical monuments and palaces. Dharmanagar is situated around a beautiful lake known by the name Kali Dighi. The lake is one of the major attractions of the town. It has fountains that lit up at night and is a spectacle to behold. Rowa Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Panisagar in North Tripura District and is a mere 12 km Dharmanagar. It is a small wildlife sanctuary unlike the bigger ones we have in other parts of the country. It is spread out across 0.86 square kilometres. Wildlife enthusiasts and bird lovers can plan a trip to the sanctuary as it is home to several species of birds, reptiles and primates.
