The best time to visit Ibiza is from June to August when the island city is at its peak as temperatures soar during the day and then cool down nicely post sunset. All the major events and parties take place during this season. Other favourable times of the year include the winter and spring seasons, the former of which presents visitors with a unique weather of the island as the winter is often considered to be the tourist off-season.
Spring Season (March – May)

This is one of the best periods for travel to Ibiza, with the weather averaging between 17 °C to 19 °C. Light showers tend to occur periodically, making the daytime favourable for exploring the island. Post sunset there is a slight breeze and the temperatures drop down to around 10° C and can get a bit chilly. Visitors are advised to cover up to keep warm during this part of the day. In May temperatures tend to increase and this month marks the start of summer.
Summer Season (June – August)

This is the hottest and most dry period in Ibiza with temperatures averaging at 26 to 30° C and possibly higher at times during the day. However, this is the best season for tourism with visitors from all over the world flocking to take in some sunshine by the beach during the day and party the night away as the weather cools in the evening. Visitors are recommended to stay hydrated at all times during this season.
Autumn Season (September – November)

Not an ideal time to explore Ibiza, the autumn season is characterized by warm days, frequent showers, cloudy skies and a higher level of humidity. The tourist crowds tend to empty out by September and the island of Ibiza becomes relatively quiet. Temperatures during this season dip down to a low average of 19 to 28° C. Visitors are recommended to check out the weather forecast before venturing to Ibiza during this period.
Winter Season (December – February)

Considered to be the tourist off-season, temperatures in winter dip down to a lower average of 16 to 9° C. The parties and nightclubs tend to have died down by this time of the year, making Ibiza ideal for visitors looking to just relax and embrace the natural beauty of the island. Moderately light showers and a cool evening breeze give the island a unique charm. However, swimming in the sea is not recommended during this season due to the low temperatures.
