Once you reach Patan, getting around in the city is very convenient. You can make use of local auto-rickshaws and city buses to visit the within-the-city tourist destinations. But before you book a rick, ensure you have discussed the price before getting in. At times, it can be a little discomforting as some of them might charge you more because you have not fixed the rates before getting in. So it is always good to know the costing before you start your journey. To visit tourist spots in the adjoining area, the best option is to book a private cab for a day or two. The booking starts at INR 1000 for a day. But you can always bargain to crack a good deal.
