Pantnagar Airport is the closest airport to Mukteshwar, approximately 96 km away. Visitors have multiple prepaid taxi and bus options from the airport to get to their destination. The airport has 4 weekly flights to Delhi and back, enjoying a decent flight frequency. Delhi International airport is the closest international airport to Mukteshwar. This is a highly efficient way to reach Mukteshwar, especially for visitors from the other significant Indian cities and overseas travellers as well. 

This is the best way to reach Mukteshwar thanks to a well-connected network of roadways and an efficient state-run bus system that enables visitors to travel back and forth through the state of Uttarakhand. Private companies also operate busses from Kathgodam and Delhi, and offer affordable travel rates. Alternatively visitors can drive down in their own cars.
