The airport closest to Mirik is located about 47 km from the area in Bagdogra in Siliguri. It is a domestic airport and has flights operating between major cities of the country. If there are no direct flights then tourists can take a connecting flight from Kolkata to reach Bagdogra. From the airport prepaid taxis are available to transfer tourists to their preferred destination.

New Jalpaiguri is the most important railway junction located about 56 km from Mirik. There is good connectivity between New Jalpaiguri and Mirik and easily accessible by road. From the station taxis can be booked to reach Mirik.
