Chanderi has a temperate climate with most of the rainfall during the winter. The average temperature on an annual basis is 25°C while the average rainfall is about 1011mm. The summer in Chanderi is very trying and hot with the temperature moving between 30°C and 45°C. It is best to avoid visiting Chanderi during the summer for this reason.

The monsoon in Chanderi is refreshing and cool with the season starting in July and lasting till September. The entire countryside turns green and lush. However, it rains in winter as well in Chanderi. This is not the best time to visit Chanderi, but is definitely doable.

The winter is the best season for visitors to tour Chanderi. The temperature is very comfortable and visitors are not stressed during this season. The temperature range during the winter is between 5°C and 20°C. The casual showers, when they do come, do not disturb the movement of visitors. Hence we recommend the winter months to enjoy touring Chanderi's brilliant monuments and sites. Keep some warm clothes handy and revel in the warm teas and heavy winter delicacies native to the region while you are at it.
