Mandarmani village is a beach town in the state of West Bengal located in the northern end of Bay of Bengal. It has a beautiful beach extending almost 13 km and believed to have one of the longest drivable beaches in the country. While a very popular destination, the weather can often play a spoil sport and hence it is better to know when the best time is to visit the seaside resort town.

Summers are quite hot and sultry here in Mandarmani. Lying in the coastal belt accounts for the high humidity that the town experiences during the hot summer months. Temperatures soar and reach around 36°C mark and almost never go below 22°C. Mornings are uncomfortable and not at all ideal for lazing on the beach. Evenings are a tad bit cooler and one could go out for a stroll along the sea.

Monsoon sets in by June and after the hot sultry summer months, the rains bring the much needed respite. Rainfall in coastal areas is quite a gorgeous affair and completely transforms the ambience of the place. There is freshness in the air and the sea too seems to get a new lease of life. Light breeze from the sea during the evenings is extremely pleasant.

Winter in Mandarmani lasts from December to February. It is the best time to visit and enjoy Mandarmani. The weather is brilliant. The clear blue skies, the slight chill in the air and the ravishing sea makes a stay a wonderful experience. The maximum temperatures located during these months are around 28°C and the lowest is around 10°C. The weather is enjoyable and it is time for some fun and frolic on the sands.
