The summer season in Kakinada starts from the month of March and extends till June. At the start of the season in March, the weather is still favorable but as time progresses and we enter April, the temperature gradually starts increasing and reaches its peak by the end of the month with May and June being the hottest months of the season 38–42 °C. Therefore, people generally avoid traveling in these months. But being a holiday season and offers run by the hotels and travel agencies, people still visit Kakinada. This is the most favorable time to visit Kakinada as the weather is moderately cool with temperatures ranging between 20 and 30° C.
