Nongpoh does not have its own airport and is only accessible via road. The nearest airport from Nongpoh is the Umroi Airport in Shillong, situated about 46 km away. However, Shillong Airport has limited connectivity to other cities across the country. Most people choose to fly into Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam instead as it has connections to most cities across India; it is located 75 km from Nongpoh. Cabs and buses are available from both Shillong and Guwahati Airport directly to Nongpoh.
