The closest airport to Dispur is the Guwahati International Airport which is just 18km away and connected to all the metros in India with regular flights. On arrival at Guwahati, you can hail a taxi or ride a bus to Dispur. There are non-stop and direct flights from New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai at estimated fares of INR 7,300-11,000. If you’re traveling from New Delhi, one of the fastest ways to reach Dispur is to take an Indigo, Air India, GoAir, Spicejet, Vistara or Air Asia flight to Guwahati and then make the onward journey by taxi in 29 minutes. The travel time by air is about 2 hours or so at an estimated fare of INR 4,600.

From New Delhi, there’s a train for Guwahati twice daily which takes about 27 hours and 40 minutes at an estimated fare of INR 850. On arrival at the Guwahati Train Station, it is about 8 minutes ride to Dispur for an approximate fare of INR 260. Trains operating on this route include train nos. 12424, 20506, 12502, 12236 and 15602 by Indian Railways. Traveling by train is also the cheapest way of reaching Dispur.
