All through the year, Dwarka can be visited but the best time to visit Dwarka is winters. Dwarka attracts the pilgrims from all over the world as it is a part of “Char Dham Yatra”. The weather of Dwarka can be categorized into three of main seasons; summer, monsoon, and winter. Summers are too hot in the day time, monsoon quite bloomy whereas winters are very pleasant.

Like all other cities in Gujarat and western Indian states, the summer season in Dwarka is hot and humid. The season usually starts from the mid of March and stretches till June. These are long and tough days for tourists and local people and therefore we do not recommend visiting Dwarka in summers. The temperature varies between 35 to 40°C at times and reaches 42°C in extreme conditions. Summers are definitely not the best time to visit Dwarka as the outdoor activities and sightseeing become a bit difficult during this time. But tourists and devotees can make a trip in summer as well.

Temperature range:  Minimum 27°C and reaches a maximum of 42°C.

The south-west monsoon starts pouring in the region at the start of July and continues to shower the city till mid-September. Monsoons here are complemented with a medium shower which increases the humidity in the city. The temperature drops by the end of September making the weather pleasant. The city is at its utmost best with greenery around the outskirts. It is one of the recommended times for a visit and you will love the scenes around, especially if you're getting here by car.

The city remains amiable during the entire winter season. It is an ideal time to make a visit to Dwarka. The winter season is considered the best time to reach Dwarka, as it is a perfect time for trippers to make a memorable and comfortable trip. During this pleasant time it is easy to explore the city, without much heat or rain to impede.

Temperature range: Minimum 9°C and reaches a maximum of 24°C.
