The city of Junagadh falls in the western part of India, which is primarily a hot region. Thus, the climate in most part of the year is hot and humid. Some places in Junagadh get extremely hot as the temperature hits the 42 mark. The city has 3 major seasons: summer, monsoon, and winter. The summer is the toughest time in the year which makes sightseeing a difficult task. Monsoon does help in getting the temperature down but still, the climate remains pretty humid. Winter is the best and recommended time to visit Junagadh, with its sublime weather.
Summer (March - June)

The summer season usually starts from the end of March and lasts until the end of June. During this time, the temperature gets really hot, especially between April and June. These are difficult times and therefore, we do not recommend any trip planning during this time. The locals usually enjoy their time at the beaches to beat the heat, but other sightseeing becomes a tough job.
Temperature range: A minimum of 26 °C and a max of 37 °C, at times, reaches 42 °C in extreme conditions.
Monsoon (July - October)

The city of Junagadh gets showered by the south-west monsoon between July and October. It gets decent rainfall, about 827 mm annually. Monsoon brings some relief from the heat but the climate continues to remain humid if it doesn’t rain between weeks. By the end of the monsoon season, the conditions start to become quite favorable for visitors as the temperature starts dropping especially by the end of October. It is again, not the best time to visit Junagadh, but there are still many tourists who come along during this time of the year.
Temperature range: Minimum 25 °C and maximum 31 °C.
Winter (November - February)

The end of monsoon means the start of the most pleasant time in Junagadh. Winter brings along some of the best conditions for visitors for sightseeing. Many tourists flock in from different corners of the country and world to enjoy the beautiful weather and historic monuments. We recommend a visit during this time as the winters are not very cold, but just about perfect for you to have a wonderful time.
Temperature range: A minimum of 17 °C and a max of 30 °C.
