Dubai Weather And Best Time To Visit Dubai
Planning A Trip To Dubai? Here's a snapshot of Dubai weather and the best time to visit Dubai
Dubai is a desert city. Weather-wise, there is not much variation over the months. One can say that Dubai has only two seasons – hot and hotter. The best time to visit Dubai is between November and March. During the so-called winter months, Dubai weather has clear blue skies, perfect for going to the beach, and exploring old Dubai, taking a walk in the lanes of Al Bastakiya, and generally roaming around. This is the peak tourist season and the best time to visit Dubai, with crowds thronging the various beaches. Dubai does not get much rain, but the humidity here can get quite high.

The best time to visit Dubai is from November to March when it is so-called winter in Dubai. The Dubai winter is pleasant and suited for all kinds of outdoor activities. During this time, particularly during January and February, the city tends to get really crowded. The Dubai Shopping Festival, held during January and February, brings heavy tourist traffic which makes the city come alive. Hotel tariffs are high, airfare goes up, and everything seems a bit out of reach. But if you book early enough, you can avoid the hassles. The Dubai rainy season is supposed to fall between January and March, but the rains are not heavy at all. Some years, there may be no rain whatsoever.

The temperatures begin to rise in April, and by May, it is officially hot. During the peak summers, the mercury hits the forties (centigrade). The summer months are very hot and humid in Dubai. Rain is sparse, but the humidity is still very high. It is almost impossible to go sight-seeing and exploring the outdoors. A visit to the beach is out of the question, as it is stifling. However, all the malls and stores are air-conditioned and you can shop in comfort.
If you find yourself in Dubai during this time, you will need to take some precautions. Drink plenty of water and other fluids and keep yourself hydrated at all times. Do not venture outdoors without using plenty of sunscreen. Carry your own water around. Never venture out in the midday.
The good part of being in Dubai in summer is that hotels will be cheap and you will not have to worry about finding a room. The airfare will also be appreciably less than what it is during the winter months.
