Dhulikhel is a small historic town located in the Kavrepalanchok District of Nepal. Winter (October-February)

The frosty weather of winter is one of the best times to check out Dhulikhel. While the month of January is supposed to be the coldest in the season, the night time temperatures remain well into the negative digits throughout winters. However, despite the apparent extremes in night temperatures, the daylight hours are perfect for undertaking short day-treks to nearby locations, or simply cozying up in your hotel with a brilliant hillside view. The day hours range from an average of 13ᴼC in October to around 3ᴼC in January.
Spring (March-May)

One of the best seasons to visit Dhulikhel, spring witnesses the best range of temperature and weather conditions suitable for sightseeing and trekking activities. The skies are clear with a crisp atmosphere that allows brilliant views of the towering peaks and lush valleys.

Summers in Dhulikhel are not as extreme as those seen in majority parts of Kathmandu Valley area. Situated at an altitude of over 1500 m, the highest temperature witnessed during the hottest month of June here reaches up to a maximum of 25ᴼC. However, the monsoon rains are also quite heavy in this region and can prove to be a hindrance for hiking activities and scenic view opportunities. So not the very best time to visit.
