The town of Dhulikhel lies on the intersection of BP Highway and Araniko Highway, just around 32 km away from Kathmandu. The Ratna Park Bus Station in the capital has regular bus services operating between the two regions and takes around two hours for the journey. Private taxis and cabs are also available for hire, which can cover the distance in lesser time and are more convenient.

Most of the accommodation is located around the old square in Dhulikhel, which is just a small walk away from the bus stand. The lodgings with mountain views are situated towards the top of the town.

Dhulikhel is a small town that doesn’t have access to public transport within the township. Most of the distances are covered on foot through short treks to landmarks, and walks between different areas. But the walks are beautiful and culturally rich, so there is hardly any chance of you feeling much fatigue.
