Mandvi is a small town and therefore, it doesn’t have its own railway station or an airport. Roadways are the only direct means of transportation to this city from other places in Gujarat and India. Still, many people travel to this beach destination every year. Trains, of course, are the best option to get here, whereas airways are a little expensive but the fastest mode of transportation. Here is a quick summary of how to reach Mandvi.
By Air:
The nearest airport to Mandvi is at Bhuj known by the name “Bhuj- Rudra Mata Airport”. At a distance of 64 km from Mandvi, it is the fastest way to get here. Then, you can either hire a cab or a bus to get to the Mandvi city center or to your hotel. The domestic airport in Bhuj has connectivity with Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, and other major cities in India at regular intervals.
By Rail:
Due to the unavailability of a railway station in Mandvi, you will have to board a train till Bhuj as Bhuj railway station which is at a distance of 63 km is the nearest railways station for Mandvi. You can get direct trains to Bhuj from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and other major cities in India.
By Road:
The city of Mandvi is well connected by roads with its neighboring cities in the state of Gujarat such as Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bhuj. Both private and state-operated buses are available at regular intervals for important cities such as Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad. Self-drive is another convenient option if you may prefer.

The monsoon season is a little better time to visit, but July and August may get heavy rains. Winter is the best time to visit the city and you can explore the city without any difficulty to its fullest.
Summer (March – June):
Summers start from the end of March and remain until June. Occasionally, the temperature sores up to 40° C in extreme conditions. Otherwise, the temperature remains in the high 30s. Winter (November – February):
