Patnitop does not have an airport of its own and is nearest to the Jammu Airport which is locally known as Satwari Airport and officially as the Jammu Civil Enclave Airport. One can easily avail flights from several cities in India like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai amongst many others, that fly directly to the Jammu airport. Airlines such as Indigo, Spice Jet, Air India and Go Air fly to Jammu And Kashmir. The distance from the Jammu airport to Patnitop is approximately 110 km and takes almost 4 hrs to reach by road. You may book a taxi online, prior to reaching the airport or taxis which are easily available at the airport to reach your destination.

One can both choose to drive through the picturesque scenery of the hilly terrain or simply sit back and enjoy the journey by hiring a cab or traveling by bus. There are a number of cab operators and bus services plying to Patnitop from the major cities in India.
