Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant was one of the most significant thermal power plants spread across the expanse of North India. This power plant was entirely constructed in 1982, comprising four units within its power station. Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant generated, in all, 460 MW of power and circulated this energy to several cities located in the southern hemisphere of Punjab. For more than 40 years, this thermal plant supplied electricity to Punjab's umpteen small towns and empowered their flourishing irrigation methods. Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is a sacred Takht located in a tiny town named Talwandi Sabo in Bathinda. This Takht has the distinction of being the prestigious fourth sacred Takht of the Khalsa Panth. Enroute his lengthy conflicts with opposing regimes, Guru Gobind Singh, arrived at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib in 1705 AD.
