Though, it is important to follow the dates of the Paris fashion week which takes place at this time of the year, bringing back crowds to the city and a surge in prices.

Paris does not experience snow fall frequently. It is a rare phenomenon. In winters, the skies are grey and dull. And rains can be expected at any time. Though, it still makes for a great chilly trip around the city with the upside of having empty streets and museums without queues. You can simply sit in one of its many bistros and enjoy a warm cuppa coffee or hot chocolate. Christmas is also a great time to be in the city. During Christmas, one can enjoy the large ice-skating rink that is set up at the boardwalk in front of the Hotel de Ville.
