Raintree Holiday:- A horrible Journey experience
I just experienced the unbelievable services from Raintree holidays…. A madam from Raintree Holidays called me when I was searching for the kerala package… she made me convinced with her believable but false commitments about their services… which were
1. We provide the best hotels no one can provide within the price range which we are providing.
2. You will definitely get the Budget hotels in the rates below than ours.
3. We will provide you the driver having good knowledge of Hindi and English (which is an advantage for North Indians visiting in Kerala)
4. You will not have any complaint about hotels as well as transportation service… even you will feel amazed.
This all was a trap because everything was just opposite of that:-
First about Driver
1. Driver came to pick us up after 2 hours of scheduled time and kept us waiting at airport.
2. When we met him I got to know that he does not know Hindi not even English
3. Driver always tried to convince that dont go for sight seen there will traffic you will stuck in huge jam.. but when we went there, there was no jam. It happens two or three times (He was doing so that we can avoid the sight seen)
Now about the hotels Raintree holidays provided.
Just apposite to the commitments, 3rd class hotel were provided…
There was seepage in the hotels, not even cleaned properly, Bed was stinky (some photos of Hotel are there)…..No food facility in the hotels…..No landline telephone…..No room services…..No electric kettle/TV nothing even only medimix soaps were provided in the bathrooms of the 3 stars(as per Raintree Holidays)
Everything was ignored but the hotel for the last day booked at so kuch prime location that there was not any restaurant nearby no problem but when I asked the driver to go the restaurant for the dinner. He denied to go saying that his duty is off for the day (at 8:30 pm). There was no food facility in the hotel. My 3 years old son slept after having biscuits at that day…..
Much more happened during the call with that madam she threatened me to pay the balance amount which was only the 10% of the total payment. I paid the balance and we returned with the bad mood….
Raintree Holidays ruined the journey of Kerala even made it horrible and left us hating kerala for that and we will never be in Kerala????????

We booked a customised tour to Munnar, Alleppy and Kovalam through RAINTREE HOLIDAYS. This agency had organised all the arrangemens perfectly well at Munnar and also the houseboat at Alleppy. Kudos to Mr. Shashikant.
But the later part of the tour to Kovlam was miserably bad. The hotel Samudratheeram is a third class lodge with no customer service of amenities. I wonder who gave star rating to this useless lodge. Not worth staying even for a day.
Otherwise the tour was enjoyable. The driver Mr. Ajit was with us throughout the period and lent a crdible help and support.

It was a nice tour. We booked a kerala tour from raintree holidays from 30th september to 6th october.....they took the charge for private houseboat while they booked a sharing houseboat in allepey.....Also, the driver named Satheesh behaved as if he is doing kripa on us for the services provided.....even though e was free for 1 and half days....he was unwilling to come one hour early on the 3rd day because of our early checkout from houseboat.........also..the car was in very dirt condition on the initial day and was not professional at all

Thank you for the good feedback for the transportation services that we have provided.
We are still wondering, which tour package we have provided, rather than transportation services for your Kerala tour. You had your own arrangements for your stay in Kerala. We never know why you booked 3 Nights in Alleppey by your own and ruined your own vacation with your own plans, lack of coordination and time management, and please don’t blame us for that.
Okay, One night accommodation was arranged by our driver at the airport since you missed your flight, as your flight left 24 Hrs before your arrived at the airport. We do very much remember your call from the Airport at night, after you missed you flight at 12 am for help as the cab had already left home after dropping you at the airport at 8 PM. We called up the driver and requested him to come back and pick you up and arrange an accommodation near the airport for you to departure next day. Since most of the rooms were sold out due to Doctors conference in Cochin, we requested the driver to arrange an accommodation immediately as you were stranded at the airport with your wife and two children in the middle of the night. You have made direct payment at the hotel for your stay yourself.
We requested our transportation vendor not to charge any money for the additional transportation for you at the airport.
We even offered to help you by booking your flight tickets next day at the same cost without any commission at the middle of the night, but you told us that you will take care of that by your own.
Not last but the least – As you requested, we cannot give you a bill/Invoice for Rs.50000/-(fifty thousand) for just a 10k transportation services that we have provided for you in Kerala, for you LTA claiming purposes. We are a liable and accountable firm who pay taxes to the government. We don’t encourage such claims at Raintree Holidays.
We still truly believe that you have posted this review at some point of a frustrated time in your life.

Excellent service. We get tham service just after a week of Kerala flooding, bun in that case they not let down in tham devices. In my tour only one regret, coir village lake resort at Alleppey. Never knew about Raintree but I am so glad we got in touch. Sasikant, the manager, was so amazingly helpful and polite and courteous that everyone in my family was very pleased. We paid quite a handsome amount for the trip but the accommodations were also equally handsome and had great locations. I would surely recommend to my friends and relatives. And if we plan A Sri Lanka trip in the near future we would definitely get in touch. We also received a very nice memento from the manager to remember our amazing trip to Kerala in the years to come.

A great kerala honeymoon trip

I planned a 6day 5 night honeymoon trip to kerala with them. Gandhi(MD of Raintree) had been following up about our experience over the phone every day throughout the trip. The wooden resort accommodation at munnar was awesome. The resorts at alleppey and varkala were amazingly close to the beach and stayed within my budget. Our cabbie Jayaraj aka jayaraj anna is very cool and he is ready to take a detour whenever we ask him. Kudos guys.

We wanted to visit munnar, Kerala and got in touch with couple of travel agencies. Rain tree was the best in terms of on time response and made our vacation a memorable one. Not a single time we felt any inconvenience from the driver which normally people come across. Their offer was worth the amount we pay. We did not provide you any tour package in Kerala - all transportation, sightseeing and other activities were arranged by yourself and we are not responsible for that.
As you requested, we just arranged a night stay for your family in Munnar within your budget constraints. We tried to get in touch with you several time, before, in between and after the tour, but there was no response at all at anytime. We believe that you had your review written before coming here with us.
As required from your side that you don't need a Star hotel accommodation, and you wanted to stay in a cottage with your all family members, we provided the best options available within your budget.
