I give zero rating for pick your trail. Had the worst experience booking Pick your trail for our Andaman trip. They just took good money and booked us in all cheap places. To begin with our entire itinerary changed and we were never intimated by them until we landed and we contacted them. They were clueless! Plus they don’t control or contact us when we are at the destination and it’s the local guides who control the entire trip. The local drivers just drop you and rush off. Not bothered if we reached the said destination, The app is of no use and only automated messages are sent. Highly disappointed with this trip.Also, we booked scuba via the person pick your trail had appointed as contact person, when we reached the scuba venue, we were told that our 10 year old can’t participate (earlier they confirmed). They haven’t refunded it yet as they promised they will.

We had a hassle free and an amazing experience with PYT. The team of Tejaswi, Chandana and Afroz were super prompt and helpful with each step whether it was designing the iterinary ( Tejaswi), travel support ( Chandana) and Visa assistance (Afroz). We hopped countries and explored quite a few places however without feeling tired, experienced some great food and nostalgic moments. It was definitely one of the best holidays we had.
We enjoyed the Dubai trip without any issues nor problems, teams associate assistance us every day program with multiple follow-ups to make sure the tourists be on time and enjoy the scheduled program. Awesome support by team via all the channels. Much appreciated - pick your trail team.
I recently had a trip to Indonesia with my wife and my 18 months baby organised by pickyourtrial there are some key areas i would like to highlight is at the time of planning the team takes all the inputs from you and share you iternary with options thats good and the places they choose is also a good one no doubt, the hotels we stayed were good. Pickup and drop to hotel was on time there was no issue with that. They also assigned a person after the payment to followup and provide suggestions. Pros: a. Initial planner listen to your input to plan your iternary. b. Part payments are good options to customers. c. Hotel bookings were of good location and hotel were of decent ones. Cons: a. When planner plans the iternary he should consider leisure atleast provide option for it. b.On Day 2 there was a sightseeing in Ubud full day excursion and day 3 there was a VW vintage car tour and a transfer to hotel in kuta on the same day whereas VW car excursion is from Ubud to ubud.there was no arrangement made to transfer from Ubud to kuta in different car in the evening. We requested VW car driver to drop us back to kuta, he agreed but our luggage was not fitting in the vintage car. I had to book a cab to transfer our luggage to next hotel which costed me 750 INR. Day 3 could have interchanged with Day 2. when i checked with customer support and the local travel agency they were clueless about this and they were just telling it will be done and till the end of the day no support has been given. c. Day 5 there was a kecak dance in iternary as our last activity we thought that the online tickets are already booked for 6 pm show. But the local travel agency tied with PYT will not book online they stand in queue for tickets and we could not get the tickets and wait for next show which is 7 pm -8 pm and with baby there was no food but somehow we managed to arrange food for her and we requested driver to stop for shopping by then the time was 10.30 pm and next day at 12 pm was our flight back to Bangalore so no option for shopping. The driver was a good hearted fellow he stopped and in 30 mins we had to complete our purchase. This could have planned better if we had got online booked kecak dance by 6 pm we could have had time to do shopping. d. There was a tour manager assigned to me i only received two calls from the person after making the first payment to tell that she is my tour manager and the day before travelling she had sent out a long list of things in email and she called to say that she has sent an email.The expectation is atleast they could have reached to check if we are ready with all the necessary documents do's and dont's for travel before a week or two rather than reaching on the day before the trip starts. e. I feel this has to be improved from PYT we have to reach PYT through app and there is no phone number to reach in case of an emergency or to inform them something. f. One last thing our car driver was good but he was not coming with us to the places to click pictures of ours or to tell about the place. Whereas we saw many other cab drivers were with the tourists clicking pictures and explaining about the place.
Disaster- a one word feedback on PYT !!! The reviews on their website & social media led me into believing that they are experts in holiday planning. I therefore chose PYT for a trip to Japan during the last week of March 2025. The reviews misled me & will never ever use them again. We were a group of 12 from different parts of India and not even one person was happy. It was so horrible from start to finish. 1. Since I am based in Chennai, I decided to visit their office & discuss my travel. Their marketing team met me and explained everything. After I paid an advance, I was put on to a different person and the marketing team was out of the scene. There were differences between what the marketing team told & what the subsequent person told. The itinerary was changed multiple times and the final one was sent to me just a few days before my travel. No consent was taken from me for the changes. 2. Three different persons got in touch with me on different days and said that he / she will be the “single point” of contact for me !!! I had to tell them that how can 3 people be a single point & that I will deal only with one of them. 3. I was asked to download their app. As soon as I did, daily reminders started coming saying that my payment is overdue, while it was not due at all. Too many irrelevant notifications started pouring in. 4. They took my passport for obtaining visa but didn’t give me any acknowledgment. When I insisted, I was told that an email will be sent by end of day. Had to anxiously wait till that email reached me. 5. The person who was dealing with me had no clue of travel, documents, etc. Any request from me was responded after a day. There were a few other issues faced before my travel began. 6. It was a 8 day trip and on day 1 the entire group felt that we made a mistake of choosing PYT !!! The guide was a non Japanese lady who had no clue of Japan !!! She was traveling to various places of our visit for the very first time !!! She was reading from google and telling us about these places !!! She was running around everywhere to figure out where to buy tickets, which way to go, etc in most places. We patiently put up with her for a couple of days more in the hope that the next day will be a better day. As a person she was polite & courteous and she wasn’t at fault at all. PYT chose her for saving a few bucks (Jap Yen) !!! After 3 more days, the entire group felt that our trip was a disaster and one of us reached out to a senior in PYT Chennai to explain what we were going through. After many more of us complained, the guide was replaced the next day. The new guide was a Japanese and she did a good job as she knew all the tourists spots inside out. 7. The places of visit, the timing, and the duration in each of these places were badly planned. For ex : we were taken to Japan’s most iconic location Mt Fuji at 6.30 pm - phew !!! Had to return disappointed seeing the clouds at sunset time. In many places, we were made to rush through and in other places we were given so much time which wasn’t necessary at all. Overall, the itinerary was poorly planned. 8. I have a lot more to say. On my return, I requested for a meeting with a senior person with a good intent of helping PYT to get better so that future travelers have a memorable experience. It’s over a week and I still await PYT’s response. I regularly travel a lot in India and outside. This trip to Japan was my worst. PYT may or may not bother about my feedback. But I thought it fit to share my (and the group of 12) experience. I have definitely had my last interaction with PYT. Thank you.
