Eating in Dras

One of the remotest areas of the country, Dras does not boast of fine dining experience. What it offers tourists are simple flavourful dishes that are no less delicious than any exotic food. The cuisine here has very strong Tibetan influence. Thukpas and Momos are extremely popular, served with chunks of veggies and meat. The bowl of steaming hot Thukpa or Maggi warms the soul on a chilly winter day and is extremely satisfying.
