Dharmanagar too is well connected by roads with different parts of the state and neighbouring states like Assam and Mizoram. Summer & Monsoon (March to September):

There are no distinct summer and monsoon seasons in Dharmanagar. While summer sets in the month of March, monsoon follows suit and hits the town as early as April. Summers are quite hot and made more oppressive by the high humidity in the air. This is caused by the showers that lash the town from time to time through the summer months. It makes the months quite uncomfortable and unbearable for the people and tourists are recommended to avoid Dharmanagar during the summer and monsoon season.

Winter (October to February):

Winter is the dry season in Dharmanagar and comes as a huge relief for the people after the extremely long, hot and humid summer and monsoon season. Temperature starts dipping gradually and can reach as low as 10°C. The chill is enjoyable and extremely refreshing. The cloudless blue sky is a joy and it is the best time for exploring the places in and around the town.
